By the Beard of Zeus!!!

In Greek Mythology, Zeus is the king of the gods, the ruler of Mount Olympus and the god of the sky and thunder.  However, for the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) and its member CGA's, Zeus is a new database system that will better enable the CGA's to organise Commonwealth Games Teams in preperation for a Games.

The system will be up and running for the 2010 Games in Delhi and so members of CGA's have been undergoing training all over the globe on how to set-up and operate the system.

The Northern Ireland Commonwealth Games Council hosted representives from England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, South Africa, Canada and Gibraltar at the University of Ulster's impressive Learning Resource Centre for a week long training conference led by Richard de Groen, the Games Team Development Manager for the CGF who flew in especially for the conference from New Zealand.
