Edward has come back strongly this season having over come a serious injury which meant he was unable to vault for the majority of last year. He has vaulted 4.65m, an improvement of some 45cm (1½ft) on his previous best and placed 3rd at the English Schools Championships 2008 and 4th at the UK school games in 2006. Edward, who is based in Derby, has kept the airlines busy flying back and forward for various competitions most notably the Ulster Age Group Championships were he vaulted 4.50m.
